Show Twelve: "The Axarcomedy Comedy Show On Tour" 10th February 2006, Las Sierras, Competa Despite death threats if we performed (I know we're bad but we're not *that* bad) the show went ahead. Las Sierras is a great venue, both for the audience and for our performers, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the audience, for the most part, seemed to view us like an alien race who'd descended upon their village to demonstrate what passes for entertainment in our galaxy. Laughs were few and far between, which was particularly annoying since the sketches and songs we selected had been those that had stormed our previous, Nerja-based shows. Only two sketches - "The Salon" and "The Crazy World of Steven Hawking" - went down with anything like the sort of laughs we're used to. A very weird night all around. Sound-wise, we had to make do with a couple of tinny speakers (kindly provided by Las Sierras) as our own speakers hadn't turned up despite promises from the supplier (no thank you Pie Dog). And to compound matters, the biggest laugh of the evening came from a monumental balls-up in "One Night Stand". Still, they all count. Don't they? "Intro Song" lyrics by Steven Smith
