Show Ten: "The Axarcomedy Christmas Show" 2nd December 2005, Unplugged, Nerja Plans to do a nativity went out of the window when we realised it wasn't going to be finished in time. So instead the Axarcomedy writers, helped by the Virtually Hilarious members, set out on a whirlwind writing schedule to create an original, hour-long Christmas show in less than ten days. In the end we actually had more material than we could use even though we still managed to produce our longest show to date at around an hour and a quarter. With only one "rehearsal" (well, where each script was read through once and once only) it should have all gone horribly wrong. But it didn't. Even the weather was against us but it didn't keep people away. By halfway through the first set the room was bursting and the laughs were coming thick and fast.
